NBC has taken full control over all medias coming into the United States covering the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. Granted they paid a boat load of money, estimated at $285+ million dollars, for exclusive rights to American broadcasting of the event. This may be true, but as many people found with the Internet as prominent in everyday life as it is theres no supprise that within an hour of the starting ceremony NBC was viciously fighting sites like YouTube and Twitter from letting media slip through the borders. If you’re not able to post yourself in front of the tv for hours on end and don’t feel like putting in the effort to hunt for up to date info on the web; let you BlackBerry keep you in the know.

For those moments when you absolutely have to be away from you tv, you can head on over to mobile.blackberry.com on your BlackBerry’s browser. This will link you to several sources like CNN and NBC as well as give you appliactions such as Viigo, CBC, and Worldmate; to keep you on top of things.
